Norway championship Shortcar

Norway Shortcar championship organized by the Norwegian Automobile Sport Federation. In 2011, running three races in Rallycross and eight races in asphalt racing.

Criteria for participation in races

Norway Cup is open to all with speed license. The vehicle shall comply with technical regulations published on www.bilsport.no and have approved the vehicle license.

Different disciplines have different cycle completion

Racing

1. Time Qualifying determines starting order in the first final.
2. Finals have standing start with the whole field lined up together.
3. In the second final reversed starting order for the 7 best positions from the first final. Then, the best lap time from the first final.

Rallycross

1. It runs three initial rounds of 5 cars in each heat.
2. Start Orders in the finals decided by the best half times in the preliminary rounds to the car with the lowest total omgangstid get the best starting position.
3. It runs A, B and C finals where six cars compete in the C final. The top two go to the B-final, and the two best from the B-final goes to the A-final.
4. A-finals are also carried out with 6 cars.

Uphill

1. In the uphill starts 1 and 1 car. Best time of the two final rounds wins.
